Our Story
How it began
With accordance to the Vision 2030, in order to enable the Kingdom to attain its innovation ecosystem, this venue is aiming to increase the levels of sophistication and innovative thinking of the young generation by creating a milieu that is favorable to entrepreneurs and innovation, and creates knowledge-based and highly value-added individuals who are able to add economic accomplishments in this ecosystem.
The ability to generate knowledge and innovation is a key challenge facing the younger generation in Bahrain and by knowledge sharing, knowledge transfer, and developing skills and competencies, this center is aiming to develop an environment for collaboration between the experienced individuals and innovative organizations that want to share and pass on their knowledge, professionalism, and innovative products or services to the young tech savvy and creative generation who are struggling to develop their skills or ideas in these difficult and challenging times.
The Goal
The knowledge pursuers targeting our center would be able to tap in many sources and diverse means of acquiring new knowledge, which are obtainable through the following means:
The individuals involved in the center taking a regular approach to sharing their tacit knowledge with the visitors of the center. Tacit knowledge is that knowledge which these individuals have acquired through their life challenges, studies, self-developments, work experiences, failures, and successes. Tacit knowledge is in the minds of these individuals and is very hard to codify and put on paper. Each individual is unique in the sense of the tacit knowledge they hold.
Another source of knowledge exchange would be through local or global unique and innovative individuals or organizations of any field who would like to conduct workshops, presentations, mentorship, or any other creative way of engaging people to share and disseminate knowledge.
